About Rachel

Hello, hello! I’m Rachel, and I’m a filmmaker based in Brooklyn, New York. I formerly produced editorial video at Condé Nast for brands like Vogue, Glamour, and Allure, and shortly thereafter worked as a producer for Outlier.org, an educational venture co-founded by the founder of Masterclass to create innovative, online higher education courses. Most recently, I produced and co-directed a short film called Kez’s Request, which I look forward to premiering in the near future.

As a producer and director I pride myself on organization, communication, and making set a place where everyone from PAs to talent can thrive and feel excellent about the work they are making. Filmmaking can be grueling and thankless work, so I think it’s important to do it with smart, capable, and kind collaborators, who treat production crews like the miracle they are - and I try to embody these traits in my own work.
